Summer is for many people their garden high point, but in a way it falls into two distinct seasons.
Here we look at early summer and in particular at some favourite reliable hardy garden plants that carry on looking good for the rest of the summer. Mostly perennials, for flower and foliage, and a few annuals and shrubs. All good suggestions for a colourful summer!
