She was a columnist for The Sunday Telegraph for 6 years and regularly writes on gardening, food and the outdoors for publications including The Daily and Sunday Telegraph, Gardener's World magazine, Sainsbury's magazine and Waitrose Kitchen. She has also written four books, The Girl's Guide to Growing Your Own, The Edible Balcony (finalist for Practical Book of the Year 2011, Garden Media Guild Awards), The Rurbanite - Living in the Country Without Leaving the City and Gardening on a Shoestring.
