RHS Level 2 Course: The First Global Digital Online Classroom

By Juliette Perry

Learning with Experts and The RHS have launched the very first Global Digital Online Classroom. Offering our community, RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Horticulture all in one collection.

For those of you who are wanting a route to employment in professional horticulture or to further develop your knowledge as a hobbyist, the RHS Level 2 Course Collection is ideal for you. With no particular age requirements or scheduled learning hours necessary, you can enjoy studying this platform at the pace you choose and from wherever you may be in the world.

This theory based course is called The Principles of Horticulture which helps our students by assessing their knowledge of the principles which underpin horticultural practices. It is made up of two certificates: "Principles of Plant Growth, Propagation and Development" and "Principles of Garden Planning, Establishment and Maintenance".

Once you pass the two theory sections of the course your tutors, Hilary Thomas and Noel Kingsbury prepare you for the final written exam, which will be taken at a RHS exam centre near you.

Those who successfully complete all the necessary units below for both level 2 theory-based qualifications - covered in the collection - will be awarded the RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Horticulture when they pass their exam. The other benefit from the collection is you gain confidence knowing you have covered all the theory, plus you save 20% rather than buying each individual unit.
