Dan Wolfe, Director of Marketing at The RHS, said: “Both organisations are passionate about educating the next gardening generation online, so it was a natural fit for us all to join forces and help to bring a global audience the opportunity to learn more about gardening for wildlife via the internet. Not everyone can always get to face-to-face courses and lectures, and yet we feel that everyone should have the opportunity to learn from a gardening expert, wherever you are in the world.” RHS Advisory and RHS Education teams have been heavily involved in the production of the course from conception through to delivery.
Photography has been supplied by world-leading wildlife photographer, David Tipling. The course is bookable now via www.rhs.org.uk/courses or www.my-garden-school.com/courses ---Ends---

MyGardenSchool is the world's first online gardening school where students can learn from gardening experts about how to do absolutely everything in the garden from keeping bees or hens, landscaping, design, growing vegetables and herbs, building treehouses or growing the perfect roses. And everything in between. All of our tutors are outstanding in their field (and gardens), being accomplished gardeners and acclaimed gardening writers. Gardening courses are four weeks long, and video tutorials are delivered weekly, together with course notes and assignments assessed by your tutor. You also get to chat to your tutor online, as well as your classmates, in the 'virtual classroom'. MyGardenSchool will teach you everything about gardening – virtually. But don't take our word for it - check out our course pages here: www.my-garden-school.com
About the RHS
The Royal Horticultural Society was founded in 1804 by Sir Joseph Banks and John Wedgwood for the encouragement and improvement of the science, art and practice of horticulture. We held our first flower shows in 1820, were granted a Royal Charter in 1861 and acquired RHS Garden Wisley, the first of our gardens, in 1903. From our first meetings in a small room off London’s Piccadilly, we have grown to become the world’s largest gardening charity. Today the RHS is committed to providing a voice for all gardeners. We are driven by a simple love of plants and a belief that gardeners make the world a better place. 209 years on we continue to safeguard and advance the science, art and practice of horticulture, creating displays that inspire people to garden. In all aspects of our work we help gardeners develop by sharing our knowledge of plants, gardens and the environment. RHS membership is for anyone with an interest in gardening. Support the RHS and secure a healthy future for gardening. For more information call: 0845 130 4646, or visit www.rhs.org.uk RHS Registered Charity No. 222879/SC038262
