Hordeum Jubatum

Can anyone tell me if it's worthwhile deadheading Hordeum Jubatum?  Mine are beginnng to look somewhat jaded, but I'd love to be able to keep them going for the rest of the summer, if poss.

In general the RHS advice is not to prune - let's see if anyone has further knowledge they can share with you

Hordeum jubatum is an annual grass and as such has done its thing when it produces its dramatic seed heads. You could resow now and with luck have a new crop in flower in late September; weather permitting.

Thank you so much for answering my question, although it wasn't what I wanted to hear. Especially chuffed that Michael King took the time to answer. I took his "Gardening with Grasses" course last year, and learned so much.
