Hi Elspeth, apologies for delay in replying to your email, we have been away for a few days. I, along with my wife Carole, run Jones Barometer Services, we specialise in the restoration, service, repair and sales of antique barometers. Although we specialise in mercury barometers we repair all types of barometers. I served my apprenticeship making barometers as well as repairing and restoring all types at F. Robson & Co in Newcastle upon Tyne, from mid 60s to md 70s when I moved South and set up Jones Barometer Services. Barometers are more than a job, after 50 years in the trade they still fascinate me,
