Fresh Productivity Tips

These tips will help you identify and correct lapses in productivity:

Time tracking

Gaps in your day will drain your productivity. The best way to close the gaps is to use technology to teach you time tracking. You can track projects, employees, and your own responsibilities. As you work through the system you will create your own work habits that will take your skills to a new level.

Learn to DIY

Millennials did not learn to do things for themselves. They depended on other people to do things for us. We have our nails done, we have someone select our cosmetics, change the oil in our cars, and clean our houses.

If we learn to do things we enjoy at home, we save money, time, and allows you to have more control over your day. For example, if you are a coffee lover you can spend a fortune and a lot of time finding the coffee you love from a vendor. Or, you can learn to brew darn good coffee from control of your own home with Home Grounds.

Forget the word “multitasking”

There is no such thing as multitasking. This is an idea made up of people who do many things at one time. The simple fact is when doing more than one thing at a time you do nothing as good as you can. Instead, schedule blocks of time to dedicate to a job. Doing the most important job first. This means the quality of your work goes up and you work more effectively.

Share the knowledge

Your lower level employees need to be taught to be efficient. The thing is they probably make it a habit of being busy. They think they do more than anyone else. They need to be taught to slow down and do fewer tasks and do them better. As they master this, they will be able to gain momentum and accomplish much more.

Productivity is a learned skill. It comes with experience and stays with you throughout your career. Close the gaps in your day and you will see an immediate improvement in the quality of your life.
